We have just added another great pattern to our extensive Glasstex offer, GTP 56 Highland Weave. This new pattern is a finer version of our very successful GTP 57 Dublin Weave and is 1 mtr wide by 50 mtr long and as with all our products this is already in stock for next day delivery in mainland UK.

Here are some great pictures from our latest hospital project. The hospital management needed to replace old wallcoverings and blown vinyls with a long term decorative fire retardant system, which was durable but cost effective, and Glasstex ticked all the boxes and is now being used to great effect.

Eclipse Wallcoverings offers a helping hand to Reuben’s Retreat

Glasstex wallcovering supplier Eclipse Wallcoverings has generously donated the materials to help complete Phase 1 of a very special charity build.

Saving the charity around £700.00, Eclipse Wallcoverings, based in Wigan, has helped by providing the specialist wallcovering Glasstex to Reuben’s Retreat, a facility for families who have lost a child, or who have children with life threatening or life limiting illnesses.

Reuben’s Retreat was set up by parents Nicola and Mike Graham following the sad loss of their son Reuben aged 23 months in August 2012. Reuben fell ill while on a family holiday in Devon. His parents took him to A&E expecting it to be nothing serious but scans revealed a rare and aggressive brain tumour. He was immediately transferred to hospital in Bristol but sadly never regained consciousness and passed away a week later in his mother’s arms.

The family were determined that Reuben’s death would not be in vain and wanted to help other families by creating a place of solace and comfort as well as happiness. By April 2014 the substantial property, situated in 1.63 acres in the Peak District, had been purchased with money raised through fundraising, and the plans began to commence the huge renovations required.

Reuben’s Retreat will be somewhere families can relax, recharge, remember and start to rebuild their lives. Phase 1 is now complete and the charity can open the doors of its counselling and support centre.

Nicola Graham, Reuben’s mummy and founder of Reuben’s Retreat, said: “We would like to say thank you to Allan and the team at Eclipse Wallcoverings from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn’t do any of this without the help of so many talented and kind people who have provided us with time, skills, energy, equipment and materials, along with all those who donate money and fundraise for us. The renovations would be very costly without such amazing help from companies like Eclipse Wallcoverings and every penny saved is a step closer to us starting the next phase of the build, and helping more people.
